The 65-square-meter apartment has been recently renovated and lovingly furnished with high-quality furnishings. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2 m) and a separate sleeping area for children (up to about 10 years old), as well as a living room with a sleeper sofa that can be used if needed. The kitchen in the open-concept living/dining area is fully equipped. There are two quiet terraces nestled between orchards and the garden.

The accommodation
The apartment consists of a bedroom, a dining and living area with an open kitchen, as well as a hallway and a private bathroom. The terrace with a wraparound deck is very large and in a quiet location.

Guest access
Next to the apartment, there is a shared laundry room. A private washer and dryer are available in this room. Please note that while the outdoor terraces belong to the apartment, the garden belongs to the tenant on the upper floor. We ask that you be considerate of the other tenants in the building.

Additional Important Information
Since our vacation rental is located in a tourist area, our city administration charges a visitor’s tax of 2 euros per person per day. In exchange, you will receive a guest card that allows you to use buses and trains for free, as well as various discounts on admission fees. Since the landlord is required to register vacation guests in advance, we ask that you pay the tourist tax during your stay.

As the owners of the vacation rental, we are required to register you in advance and therefore ask that you pay the tourist tax to us during your stay. In return, you will receive your guest cards from us.

Here’s where you’ll be staying:
The apartment is located in Stockach-Wahlwies on the first floor of a quiet two-family home. The house is situated on the outskirts of town, away from traffic. It’s the highest house in the village, surrounded on three sides by fruit orchards and right on the edge of the forest, making it a great starting point for walks and hikes in the adjacent woods. In the village, you’ll find a local bakery (a 5-minute walk away), a very well-stocked organic grocery store with excellent bakery items, and a Demeter organic farm with a fresh milk vending machine and a free petting zoo. Also in the village and just a 7-minute walk away is the Gasthof zum Adler, which serves homemade, local, and seasonal cuisine. A large playground, many small streams, and accessible hiking and biking trails offer a variety of recreational activities right on your doorstep. The nearby Lake Constance is a 7-minute drive away.
