A Retreat -Romantic,Private Hot Tub,Riverside,Forest, Private,Quiet, not a hotel

We stayed here for our wedding weekend, and it couldn't have been a more perfect place. The property is private, peaceful, and tucked away in nature. Golden Ears is right nearby. Having access to the water was a huge bonus, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after such a busy weekend.The bed was very comfortable, and the suite had everything we needed, including a kitchenette, TV with a great DVD collection, and board games. There's also a BBQ we got to use! This spot would make a fantastic staycation if you're looking for a quiet getaway. The only thing to note is the driveway is quite bumpy and steep so a lower car may need to be careful coming down. Greg made check-in and the entire stay incredibly easy. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend staying here!

Great “oasis” of a property that is bigger than the pictures show. Coffee by the rushing river, BBQ under a canopy of trees, cozy hot tub to end the day. The host was friendly and responsive. Lots of nice touches on the property such as a variety of chairs for a different view each day.

Absolutely gorgeous location!I came here as a solo traveller with my small dog, I am local but I needed hot tub therapy; this didn’t disappoint. I probably spent 90% of my stay hot tubbing.Very clean room and all the necessities you may need in case you forget to bring something. I was wondering why I had minimal mosquito bites considering how long I stayed in the tub or had the screen door open until I realized the mosquito repellent hard at work. It’s the attention to these little details that puts the hosts’ efforts above and beyond.My dog woke me up in the early a.m. because he needed to pee and the motion sensor lights were much appreciated as an assist to my flashlight.Although the location is secluded, it is very close to city shops should you want to venture out especially if you’re on a multi-day stay.The Alouette River is only a few steps away down the path and there is minimal interaction with the guests staying at the next door accommodation except the shared path down to the river.I only used a fraction of what this stay had to offer but I’ll likely take advantage of beautiful lounge area under the trees the next time I book direct with my significant other. Pro tip: Please pick up after yourselves when relaxing down by the river. The hosts have done an excellent job of maintaining a clean and safe space so take any bottles or refuse you have with you back to the room where recycling is available.

Exceptional accommodations. Beautiful piece of property along the river. Having a bbq available allowed us to have a wonderful meal with our 2 sons. We would definitely stay here again.
