About this apartment rental

Welcome to beautiful Bad Reichenhall in the Berchtesgadener Land! Our cozy vacation apartments are situated in a prime location in an apartment building on the ridge of the “Schroffen” in Bad Reichenhall. In fact, they’re just a stone’s throw away from the Predigtstuhlbahn. Our special highlight is the heated swimming pool! It features a panoramic window with a view of the Predigtstuhl. Tip: We recommend bringing bathrobes for the pool. That way, you can take the elevator down from the apartment directly in your swimwear and head straight to the pool. Amenity Highlights: Our first highlight is the heated swimming pool. The second special feature is the lighting control via Alexa. Of course, the vacation apartments have Wi-Fi. “Alpenschwänchen” has a safe in the closet and a phone (incoming calls only). The underground parking space, available for rent at 12 EUR/night (if available!), is especially convenient in wet or very hot/cold weather. A washer and dryer are located in the building. (Coin-operated => Coins can be obtained from the caretaker or his representative. Tip: The caretaker locks the swimming pool every evening at 9 p.m.) A fitness room and a table tennis room are located in the swimming pool area. There is a tanning bed in the swimming pool’s changing room (2 EUR coin-operated). There is a bike storage room next to the underground parking garage.
The cozy and comfortable “Salzschwänchen” vacation apartment is approximately 44 m² in size. From the apartment door, you enter a small hallway with the bathroom on the left and the kitchen on the right. Straight ahead is the living room with a cozy dining area and a sleeper sofa (e.g., for children). Separated from the living room by sliding curtains is the bedroom. The left passageway leads to the left side of the bed and the closet. The right passageway leads to the right side of the bed, the vanity/desk, and the window. The living room features a modern TV with an Amazon TV Stick and a DVD player. The cozy couch can be pulled out into a double bed (140×190). The living room opens onto the large balcony, which is furnished with two comfortable garden chairs and a table. In the corner is a clothes rack for wet swimwear. The dining area can be lit very brightly or with a cozy, subdued glow, depending on your needs, thanks to the many lamps. This makes it a great spot to enjoy a meal, play board games, or plan outings. The bedroom features a double bed with a mattress topper (180×200). The bed by the window is electrically adjustable. Of course, there are two nightstands and reading lamps. By the window is a small writing desk for writing or doing your hair and makeup (a small mirror is provided). On the other side of the bed is a spacious closet. You can check your outfit in the large mirror. The small kitchen is located in a separate room and features a two-burner ceramic cooktop, a microwave, a small oven built into the cabinet, and a dishwasher. Of course, a toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker (Tassimo or Senseo), and much more are also provided. The bathroom has a tub with a showerhead. The three-part mirror cabinet makes it easy to style your hair for a dirndl. A hair dryer is provided. Of course, the “Salzschwänchen” apartment has internet/Wi-Fi. The lighting can be controlled via Alexa, allowing you to dim the lights. You can also listen to the radio or music via Alexa.
According to Google Maps, it’s 1.4 km or an 18-minute walk from the apartments to the Old Town Hall. The distance to Café Reber in the heart of the pedestrian zone is 1.5 km or a 20-minute walk. It takes only a quarter of an hour by car to get to Salzburg. Because of its mild climate, Bad Reichenhall is often called the “Merano of the North.” The Berchtesgaden Alps are perfect for hiking, mountaineering, and skiing. In the summer, the beautiful Thumsee Lake is perfect for swimming. And Salzburg, the city of Mozart, is always worth a visit. The distance from the Bad Reichenhall-Kirchberg train station is 1.1 km. It takes about 18 minutes on foot, though the route is uphill.
We got married in Bad Reichenhall but unfortunately had to move to Berlin for work. However, since we still feel a strong connection to beautiful Bad Reichenhall, we now rent out several vacation apartments there and check on them regularly.
