About this house rental
The Wäldle 2 vacation farm consists of a new building in the barn passageway and an existing attic apartment (bathroom, kitchen, living area, two bedrooms, and a large loggia). The new building features two additional bedrooms and shower/toilet units on the first floor of the barn passageway of the former alpine farm. Our alpine farm is located about one kilometer before Balderschwang, right next to the cross-country ski trail. We have tried to preserve as much of the original character of this farm—which is certainly more than 200 years old—as possible. In 1978, a living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen were added to the guest rooms in the attic. The attic apartment, which at the time slept nine people, was to be expanded to include a shower room.
Ultimately, this didn’t work out as planned, and the entire passageway through the barn was completely gutted—from the original plank floor all the way up to just below the roof sheathing. As a result, a new staircase was built from the entrance area up to the attic, and the additional rooms mentioned above were created. The lounge under the roof was also expanded. In addition, an utility room was built for the housekeeping staff. In terms of fire safety, the renovation was carried out largely in accordance with the new requirements. With approximately 140 m² of space, 14 people can spread out comfortably. Underfloor heating in the shower/toilet areas and infrared panels in the bedrooms of the new addition, along with the centrally located tiled stove in the attic apartment, create a wonderfully cozy atmosphere in the winter. A large paved terrace and corresponding parking spaces are available on the property. Beneath the south-facing spruce trees, a truly idyllic beer garden setting has been created. For children, there is a play tower with a slide.
Motorcycles can also be rented from us. We primarily offer BMW GS models from 850 - 1300 ccm, as well as one Yamaha each for A1 and A2 license holders.
