The cabin was what we were looking for. Great communication from the hosts. Quiet and calm is what you'll find here. A lot of wildlife in the area. Pond is peaceful. I don't think there are many bass in the pond of any size, was only able to catch 3 on artificial lures. All around 12", but there are plenty of bream. We caught well over 50. Use small hooks with nightcrawlers or corn. Saw several large snapping turtles surface in the evening in the pond and plenty of frogs around the shoreline as well. We plan on making a return visit at some point. Was great to disconnect and hang out as a family without the distractions of a phone.

Peaceful and relaxing. Pretty far out in the country, but that's what made it nice.

The cabin was wonderful. GREAT location. Even though there is no signal there and no WiFi, I had no problem finding it. This is exactly the type of property that I have been looking to buy around PA, OH, WV and MD. VA is a bit too far for me, but this cabin would make me change my mind. The pond is very nice, fishing was good in the pond and the river/creek is walking distance for some nice trout option. Made to 2 National Parks while there. Really lovely property and location. We will likely be coming back. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Only complaints were its advertised as a private pond but the neighbors come toIt also. Our last night there the neighbor (bill) was there with his dog and the dog approached in an aggressive manner. Didn’t appreciate that at all. He was diving off the dock even though there are no diving signs posted. Also could use another air conditioner. It was very hot in the cabin last night as the one couldn’t keepUp.
