The apartment is located on the first floor of a charming historic building in the heart of Cortona. The property has been meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail, starting with the entrance, which leads through a 18th-century door—restored and modernized—into the living room. In addition to the fully equipped kitchen, a sofa bed, and a table, also features a recessed area whose wall, prior to renovation, was discovered to conceal a period fireplace. Before entering the bedroom, there is a hallway where, on one side, there is a built-in closet containing various types of utensils, and on the other, a bathroom featuring an 18th-century stone that frames the shower. Upon entering the bedroom, the first thing that catches the eye—aside from the exposed beams running across the ceiling that characterize the entire apartment—is a small window behind the bed, which overlooks Piazzetta Baldelli and offers a view of Cortona’s main square, Piazza della Repubblica.

I was somewhat disappointed with the apartment. The location was fantastic in the middle of town. However a major update needs to be done of the mattress and clutter in the apartment, and it could be much cleaner including the terrible smell that is in the apartment. There needs to be more things included like salt and pepper, garbage bags, toilet paper, soap. There needs to be less stuff in the way that makes the apartment so small to get around. Also, we knew many individuals staying around the city and no one else was going to be charged for using either the air conditioner or the heat. We were told that we would have to pay extra for using those things. Great communication with the staff.
