The "Backbord" half of this completely renovated thatched-roof house offers 100 m² of space for up to 6 people. The "Backbord" is located on a secluded street at the edge of a field—the perfect place to escape the stress of everyday life! The living and dining room on the first floor is cozy and features a wood-burning fireplace. The open-concept kitchen adjoins the living and dining room and is fully equipped. The kitchen leads to the natural-light-filled shower room. The upper floor houses the two bedrooms and a small restroom. Built-in closets in the hallway and a cozy work and reading area on the loft complete the upper floor of this historic semi-detached house, built in 1895. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180x200 cm). The other bedroom features a daybed (90x200 cm), which can be pulled out to form a double bed (180x200), as well as a loft area with two floor mattresses (70x200) —a perfect retreat for up to 4 children. Both bedrooms are equipped with blackout curtains to ensure restful nights. Opposite the front door is the entrance to a private, enclosed garden with a sheltered southwest-facing terrace, which also features a grill. For a vacation with all generations or a getaway with friends, the other half of the house, “Steuerbord,” or the guesthouse “Captain’s Lodge”—also located on the property—are ideal options. In total, up to 17 people can vacation together at “Fjord Cottage.”
