Plenty of space for family, friends, and small groups
The house was originally an old farmhouse. Today, with three bedrooms, a large living and dining room with an adjoining kitchen, it offers plenty of space for families with or without children or a dog, friends, relatives, and small groups. In total, it sleeps up to 5 to 6 people. (If you need to accommodate more people, you can also book both of our houses together. Combined, they can accommodate up to 9 adults.) Outside, there’s a large terrace with a brick barbecue and a large stone seating area. The house is situated on a large property on a mountainside next to a small stream and the forest. From the house and the property, you have a view of Monte Zeda and the adjacent Val Grande, as well as Falmenta. FROM THE PARKING LOT IN FALMENTA, IT’S ABOUT A 10-MINUTE WALK UP TO OUR HOUSE. PLEASE BRING ONLY BACKPACKS AND NO SUITCASES. YOU CANNOT DRIVE UP TO OUR HOUSE. You can set out on countless hikes right from the house—up into the wild Val Grande, down to Lake Maggiore, or simply exploring the nearby wooded areas and discovering the many stone remnants of the abandoned mountain farming culture.
