About this apartment rental
Located in the center of Villeneuve close to restaurants and shops. You will be able to enjoy the charm of the village but also to take full advantage of the Avignon festival. A shuttle bus Avignon every ten minutes. From Villeneuve will have the opportunity to travel the Rhone Gard but also the country of Vaucluse in all its diversity.

My wife & I stayed here for 8 nights in Late June 2026 during very hot & dry weather. Helene was a friendly & helpful host and communication with her was very clear & prompt.
The property is located in Villeneuve Les Avignon which is just across the river from the main town and has a lot of its own attractions such as the Fort, Tower, Abbey, cathedral and some museums.
The property is located in the very centre & is only a short 5 min walk & 10 min bus ride on the local No.5 bus to Avignon old town, across the Rhone bridge. Avignon is beautiful with numerous sights to see, including the papal palace, gardens, churches and cathedral.
Abundant, free & secure parking is only 5 min walk away from the apartment.
There are numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and a supermarket & bakery within 2 min walk from the apartment. There is a large Carrefour supermarket only 10 min drive away and they have regular antique & fresh food markets in the parking area nearby.
The apartment is two bedroom & very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom with washer & drier. The air-con in the bedroom is brilliant in hot weather & the bed is very comfortable. the view from the rooms is over a quaint square, bar/restaurant below & the cathedral.
There is no lift, however the one flight of stairs were quite easy to navigate.
We felt very safe in the apartment & old town of Villeneuve.
We would recommend to any couple or family.

The property is very well located with easy access to restaurants, boulangeries and grocery stores. The house is renovated and generally well equipped. There are a few things to notice. The bathroom a bit dysfunctional as the toilet is at the entrance of the house with no basin and the shower spills all over the place. Some of the windows don’t close at all and need to be fixed. AC is only on one of the bedrooms. The parking is street parking and please note there are certain days the closest parking lot becomes a market in its entirety, you will be towed if you leave your car anywhere on that parking lot contrary to the information that was provided to us.

We loved our time in this apartment. It has great amenities, large spaces and is in a great location for access to markets, bus, restaurants and local sights of the area. It is just outside Avignon but we loved that! It is a peaceful town and all the shops for what you need are within a few blocks. Large grocery is further to walk but we didn’t need that. Very easy check in and host was quick to respond but really didn’t have much to contact her about! Such a beautiful spot!
