In just a 10-minute walk, you can reach the Gradierwerk, the saltwater baths, or downtown. Stroll around Burgsee Lake and enjoy the day with a cup of coffee or some ice cream. If you don’t feel like cooking, you can quickly head into town. Around Nappenplatz and the market square, you’ll find restaurants serving cuisines from around the world, so there’s something for every taste. Thanks to its central location, you can also easily and quickly reach the most beautiful attractions, such as Wartburg Castle in Eisenach, Altenstein Castle, Inselsberg Fun Park, Ruhla Leisure and Miniature Park, Viba Nougat World in Schmalkalden, Trusetal Dwarf Park and its waterfall, the Wasserkuppe in the Rhön Mountains, and many more.
