The property is wonderful. The home and the setting are excellent. It is right on the inland inlet just south of the town of Tofino. I recommend rubber boots because the beach is more muddy and rocky. On the other hand there is nearly no one on the beach. The house is beautifully appointed. Hot tub, sauna and outdoor waterfall which runs during the day. The host is very approachable and there is a caregiver who lives unobtrusively on site. My wife and I and our dogs adored this property.Just minutes drive from places like Chesterman Beach and the town of Tofino. If I could give six stars I would

Lounge couch upstairs reasonable size for adult. Walking distance to downtown. Beautiful view.

When we drove up to the property, it was so beautiful. A little bit of a clinch when we tried to put in our access code, which was wrong. Had to get hold of the host to get the proper code. They need to hire a new cleaning crew. You could write your name in the dust that was on the lamps in the bedroom. There was soap, scum and mould and mildew all around the showers that was easily wiped away by a wet finger. The kitchen faucet desperately needs to be replaced before it breaks off. It would have been very helpful and useful if there were some sort of instructions on how to operate the oven. The views and the location were very spectacular but the small details in the house, there was room for upgrades. When was the last time the fireplace was cleaned? The glass is so dirty. You can’t even see the flames. Upon arriving, we were opening drawers in the bedroom and found a pair of ladies underwear. We did enjoy the hot tub.
