About this house rental
Close to everything in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area. Clean, comfortable with a big back yard to walk your doggie and enjoy the sunset. Eight minutes to Gonzaga or downtown Spokane. Fifteen minutes to the airport and Twenty minutes to Airway Heights and the Quest. Thirty minutes to Coeur d' Alene beach, lots of restaurants 5 minutes away with lots of parks and trails a stone's throw from this comfortable south hill neighborhood

This apartment was easy to find and immaculately clean. Furnishings were quite dated, but adequate. Decor was strangely eclectic with cityscape posters (NYC, London, Paris, etc) and one monster movie poster combined with African elephant figurines and an American Southwest dish garden! The kitchen left a lot to be desired, but would be sufficient in a pinch. Only a 2 burner hot plate was provided for cooking, a mishmash of small dinner plates and limited glassware.
The apartment was quiet and owner lived above. He proved to be a friendly sort and his apartment served us well with delivery pizza to share with a nearby relative. Yard area was not very well kept and difficult with pets, but I would stay here again since locations that are pet friendly are hard to find. On street parking seemed safe and the short walk to the side entrance was easy, but not totally smooth terrain.

The apartment was very cozy and clean. Plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels provided. TV’s in both bedrooms was a nice bonus as I like to watch TV at night. Was easy to find and checking in was easy. Only issue was apartment was a little colder than I liked but the extra blankets helped.

The property is on the bottom floor of a house, so there is no thermostat. As a result, the temperature is controlled by the main house, which left us freezing the entire time we were there. Communication with the host was not a speedy process, taking at least a few hours to get a response to any inquiry. Despite these things, we had a pleasant stay and the property was clean.

OK, for the most part. Location was very convenient. Bed linens smelled musty. And the people upstairs stomped around every morning at about 5:30, which was very frustrating.
