Welcome to Dresden-Loschwitz.
A sandstone staircase with approximately 120 steps leads to the vacation home “Am Loschwitzhang.”
The property is a comfortable vacation home for two people, with the character of a small single-family home spread over two floors. Its idyllic location in a lovingly maintained garden in the villa district on the Loschwitz slope of the Elbe offers a breathtaking panoramic view across the Elbe, past the “Blue Wonder” bridge, over the entire city, and all the way to the peaks of the Ore Mountains.
In addition to an outdoor seating area in the garden featuring an open, brick-built sandstone fireplace, guests also have access to another outdoor seating area on the garden terrace located one level higher. This terrace offers a particularly impressive view. Both areas are equipped with patio furniture and umbrellas. Directly in front of the house entrance is a partially covered, furnished terrace.
The vacation home, which can be used year-round, features a rustic design and modern amenities.
The lower level houses the open kitchen and a cozy dining area, as well as a bathroom equipped with a shower and toilet. A hair dryer is also available for use.
A wooden spiral staircase connects the lower and upper floors.
Upstairs is the open-concept living area with two large windows that offer guests an unobstructed view of the Elbe River and the entire city. There is also a small bedroom with two single beds arranged in an L-shape in the corner.

This was one of our favorite stays. The Holiday House sits atop a hill that has a stunning view of the Elbe River and the old town. Across the Blue estairBridge is ShillerPlatz and has been an operational restaurant since the late 1700’s, very cool!! Transportation is very easy taking the 61/63 to connect to a tram to get anywhere you want to go.
The hosts, Ines and Alex where everything you want in host, sharing info on what to do and where to go. If you are planning on being in Dresden and need a quite place to stay, this is it!!
