Located in Woods Bay and just a straightforward 2-hour drive from Toronto, this waterfront haven is the perfect retreat for a small family seeking beauty, comfort, and peace.

Unique Shoreline: Enjoy both the classic, majestic Georgian Bay rock formations and a natural, private sandy beach.
Unrivalled Views: The name says it all! Watch the most magnificent sunsets from the front deck, and don't miss the beautiful, inviting sunrises.
Easy Access: This is a drive-to waterfront cottage, making your arrival and departure simple and stress-free.
The Cottage: The main cottage is entirely yours to enjoy. Please note there is a detached garage on the property; the owner occasionally stays in the private loft above it but will completely respect your space.

Interiors Sunset Heights is designed for comfort, featuring three bedrooms and two and a half washrooms.
Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 6)
Master Suite (Main Floor): King bed with a full view of the bay. The ensuite includes a walk-in shower with a separate toilet and vanity.
Upper Bedroom 1: Double bed with a full view of the bay.
Upper Bedroom 2: Double bed, which also doubles as a versatile workout room with large windows to capture the morning sun.
Fully Equipped Kitchen, Prepare gourmet meals with ease in the full kitchen, complete with modern appliances: Full-sized Fridge, Freezer, Stove, and Oven, Dishwasher and Microwave, Bonus Bar Fridge.
The half washroom (toilet and sink) is conveniently located just off the kitchen.

Spend your days relaxing or exploring on the water!
Decks & Dining
Front Deck: A large, inviting space nestled among the trees with plenty of seating under umbrellas—choose your perfect spot for sun or shade.
Back Deck: Features a barbecue (propane included) and an outdoor dining table for al fresco meals.
Waterfront Fun (Gear Provided!)Take out the kayak or canoe to paddle around and explore the vibrant aquatic life. Life jackets are provided.Plan a quick day trip! Moon Island is located just across the bay and offers a wooden pavilion, picnic tables, and restroom facilities for a lovely picnic destination.

We value your peace and quiet. The main cottage, backyard, beach, and decks are completely private to your family. The owner occasionally stays in the completely separate loft located above the detached garage during weekdays. If on-site, they are happy to assist with any questions but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your absolute privacy.

Amazing! Everything you need in a property, and more! Incredible location in the lake, which we spent almost all of our time in, on, or around. Loads of wildlife, including hummingbirds and totally comical pine squirrels that provided hours of entertainment. Would come back in a flash. Jon

Deanna’s place is beautiful and immaculate! So cozy and beautiful sunsets! Her kitchen is packed with everything you could need which makes cooking a breeze. We enjoyed the hot tub and amazing walk in shower was such a treat! She was a great host and communicated with us whenever necessary. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you for having us!!

The cottage is stunning. New construction, well laid out, the perfect cottage with tons of decks and gorgeous views from inside the cottage and bedrooms too!
My two concerns are minor and major. I love the Georgian Bay and have been a regular for 45 years. One of my favorite activities is swimming in the deep clear waters. The depth of water at the end of the dock is rough 5’. Not deep enough to dive at 6’3! I was expecting much deeper at the end of the dock. Great if you have small children and want to stand as they swim.
The major issue is they the marina is right next door. You can see the docks of the marina right in front of the cottage. Like all marinas, the boats pull pull out in a hurry and slow to create big wakes. The boats are 50 feet from the edge of the dock I was always nervous as we swam out to deeper water to swim and close to the boat traffic. I wouldn’t want my nieces and nephews to do that.
I am sorry but need to be honest because we cottage to swim and there are concerns. Just be aware.
