From the private terrace, where you can dine, you can enjoy a stunning view stretching from the surrounding countryside to the Chianti hills and the towers of the city of Siena.The rooms include a comfortable and spacious living room, a cozy dining room with a beautiful stone fireplace, a practical open-concept kitchen fully equipped with all appliances, two bathrooms with showers, and two large, bright double bedrooms (with the option of an extra bed).

We loved this property. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and the grounds were absolutely immaculately maintained. The view of Siena in the distance was lovely, but the real showpiece of this property is absolutely the pool. There are enough daybeds for each of the four apartments, plus all kinds of loungers and chair chairs, and the infinity pool with the view of sienna was our favorite place to be all week long.
This property is definitely more remote than we envisioned, you are on a completely dirt road for about five minutes before coming to a main road, but you could be in catena in about 12 minutes and had easy access to all of the other parts of Chianti, you would want to visit.
Would absolutely recommend and would absolutely come back!

The house is nestled in the hills and only accessible by a very bumpy dirt road. The GPS doesn’t take you to the drive way, instead it leads to a nearby dead end dirt trail. The nearest town is adorable with great food options and Florence is about a 75 minute drive The property is extremely well kept. It’s a shared property with 2 other units.

Beautiful home in Castellina in Chianti where my daughter and I visited for the UTCC race. The property has four separate 'apartments' that share a parking lot, pool, and outdoor space. The views are amazing and the sunsets were beautiful. Our 2 Bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed calling it 'home' for 6 nights. Frederico was very kind and attentive but not overbearing as a host. We would definitely stay again if in the area and we recommend this property. Our only suggestion to the host (but not knowing if this is typical in Italy or not) is that when staying in other VRBO homes in France and the US, we are accustomed to having some basic spices, napkins, paper towels etc stocked in the kitchen. Not sure if that's typical in Italy or not but just in case we left some for the next guest :-) Ciao and Grazie Castellina in Chianti!!
