Reit im Winkl is located in the Bavarian Alps, near the Austrian border, and offers an impressive natural setting with a wide range of recreational activities.
Reit im Winkl has been a certified climatic health resort since 1956 and, thanks to its ongoing commitment, has consistently met the requirements for this certification ever since. The high altitude ensures pleasantly cool nights and moderate summer heat; the pure air contributes to the beneficial effects on the body; and the therapeutic walking trails promote health through measured walking on ascending paths. An ideal place for those seeking relaxation!
The region is surrounded by impressive mountains, forests, meadows, and lakes. Ideal for your summer and/or winter vacation.
There are numerous hiking trails that wind through the picturesque landscape. Popular destinations include the Winklmoos and Hemmersuppenalm alpine pastures, the Dreiseen area, the Klausenbach Gorge, and the Gletschermühlenfeld.
You’ll receive a warm welcome from the senior owner, Resi Höflinger, as well as Julia & Lorenz Höflinger with Magdalena and Valentin
