This cozy lodging is the ideal starting point for your (country) vacation—whether you’re hiking, biking, or just unwinding.
Our beautiful vacation rental in the heart of the Thuringian Rhön—just a 10-minute drive from the spa town of Bad Salzungen—offers plenty of space for 2 to 7 people.
This cozy vacation rental is the ideal starting point for your (country) vacation—whether you’re hiking, biking, or just relaxing. Experience nature and animals in the beautiful surroundings of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve. Our alpacas live right in the garden and love to go on hikes with our guests.
Bernshausen is located in a high valley of the Vorderrhön and also offers ideal swimming and fishing opportunities in the surrounding lakes, such as Schönsee and Bernshäuser Kutte.
The vacation rental is located on the first floor. In addition to the vacation rental, there are two other apartments in the house, occupied by two young families.
Spanning a total of 104 square meters, the apartment features two bedrooms, each with a double bed (extra bed available), a bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub, and heated floors, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living-dining area with a dining table and a sofa set.
Behind the house, you’ll have access to a designated area of the garden with seating, a table, and a grill.
We have three horses in a paddock who would love a little petting.
There’s a restaurant in town serving regional cuisine where you can treat yourself to dinner. There’s also a horse ranch in town.
