Welcome to the Zaißlhäusl Farm | with the Chiemgau Card Our family-friendly farm is centrally located near the town center, and the bus stop is right next to the farm. We raise sheep on our farm, and you can expect typical Bavarian hospitality. We also offer food produced on our own farm. Enjoy the view of the fields and the Chiemgau mountains. Families have plenty of space on the farm. Excursions to the nearby Chiemgau mountains or bike tours around Lake Chiemsee and into the Achental Valley are ideal. You’re welcome to treat yourself to our daily bread roll service and/or eggs from our happy chickens.

Apartment: approx. 79 sqm of living space (floor area 105 sqm!!) / 1–4 guests / 2 bedrooms with an east-facing balcony / Bathroom with bathtub, large shower, double sinks, heated floors, washing machine, and separate toilet / 2 balconies (east & west) / large kitchen-diner with dishwasher / satellite TV / wood-burning stove in the living room / washing machine / separate second toilet / very high-quality furnishings From the east-facing balcony, you have a beautiful view of the mountains and can enjoy the sunrise. From there, parents can keep a close eye on their children as they play in the fenced-in swing area or on the trampoline. On the west-facing balcony, you can enjoy the evening sun.
Excursions to the nearby Chiemgau Mountains or bike rides around Lake Chiemsee and into the Achental Valley are highly recommended.
Hello! My name is Veronika, I’m 39 years old, and I live in Übersee on beautiful Lake Chiemsee. I’m married and the mother of three children between the ages of 10 and 16. We run a farm and have three vacation rentals. I also work as an insurance specialist at a local insurance brokerage. We’ve been renting out accommodations to vacationers on our farm for over 75 years. In 2015, I was very happy to take over the rental business from my parents. Nevertheless, my parents are always available to offer advice and assistance to our guests and help me manage the work on the farm. We all live together on the farm—three generations under one roof. We haven’t had any dairy cows on the farm since 2013. However, we still have about 12 female retirement cattle, aged 1–2 years, which graze on the meadows around our farm every year from May at the latest until around the end of October.
