About this apartment rental
Hello and a warm welcome to the “Mare Nostrum 1” vacation rental. It’s located on the first floor of a small apartment building right next to the beach, behind the dunes of Westerland. Perfect for two, with 46 square meters of space and a separate bedroom, but it can also accommodate four people, as the cozy couch in the living room—which opens onto the kitchen—can be folded out into a double bed.
The open-concept kitchen-living room (painted “Vanilla”) is well-equipped; the furnished terrace, a private parking space, and a shared washer/dryer are also available. But the real highlight of this apartment is its location: It’s less than ten minutes from here to the bustling downtown area with all its shopping options, quaint pubs, and attractive restaurants. And if you like to swim in the ocean before breakfast, you can theoretically “just walk over” to the beach in your swimsuit—it’s less than two minutes away.
Don’t have a Latin certificate? Admittedly, very few of our guests do either. “Mare Nostrum” means “our sea”; it once referred to the Mediterranean and here on the island stands for a truly attractive apartment building where we manage all 12 units.
