About this house rental
Stay in our spacious and beautifully renovated 70-square-meter bungalow, “Am Jacobsgarten,” located in the Gernrode district of Quedlinburg.
Quedlinburg’s Gernrode district is centrally located between the most famous sights of the Harz Mountains and the Harz foothills, right on the Romanesque Route.
It’s only about 8 km to the World Heritage city of Quedlinburg with its historic old town.
It’s also just 8 km to Thale and its famous aerial cableway adventure park.
From our bungalow, you can walk (about 10 minutes) to the Harz Narrow-Gauge Railway station and take the historic steam train through the Selke Valley or even on routes up to the Brocken, which rises to 1,141 meters.
Whether it’s winter, spring, summer, or fall, the numerous hiking trails in the forest right in the immediate vicinity offer relaxation and a break from the daily grind in every season.
On hot days, you can cool off at the Osterteich, located just about 1.5 km away and idyllically nestled in the middle of the forest. Another swimming lake, the “Bremer Dammteich,” is about 6 km away.
In town:
Restaurants, butcher shops, Irish pub, pharmacy, supermarkets, hair salons, doctors, gas station, savings bank
