About this apartment rental
The Autorenhaus, a villa with a literary past. Following a two-year renovation, this beautiful villa welcomed guests for the first time in 2009. Formerly known as Wilhemshöh, this house was one of the first guesthouses in the area as early as the turn of the century. With its luxurious elegance in the style of classic seaside resort architecture, its prime location, and its exceptionally comfortable apartments, it will live up to this reputation and once again become one of the most prestigious properties in the imperial spa town. Located just about 50 m from the white sandy beach and only about 250 m from the historic pier—the landmark of Ahlbeck—the Autorenhaus enjoys a very quiet yet central location. Each vacation apartment has a parking space available. A washing machine and dryer are available in the building’s basement for a fee.
The Autorenhaus, Apt. 15 Lasker-Schüler:
The two-room Lasker-Schüler vacation apartment in the Autorenhaus offers more than just a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. The tasteful furnishings, thoughtful details, and the special charm of the glass-enclosed loggia make this apartment—located on the second floor of the villa—a cozy vacation home. From the living area with its wood-burning stove, you have direct access to the glass-enclosed loggia. Here, you can relax wonderfully and enjoy the magnificent ocean view in every season. The loggia is stylishly furnished with Art Nouveau furniture and is harmoniously complemented by a matching Art Nouveau pendant light and wall sconces. Additional pleated blinds in the lower window area provide pleasant privacy when needed. The living area features a large smart TV mounted on the wall and a narrow wall cabinet. An elegant glass table and dimmable ceiling light round out the cozy atmosphere. The sofa bed offers an additional sleeping option for a child up to 15 years old. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and has been enhanced with a cozy counter featuring a dining area and two bar stools. The pleated blinds provide practical privacy and sun protection. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed for two adults and offers additional space for a travel crib. A built-in wall niche with a TV provides extra comfort. The Art Nouveau-style door handle set echoes the design of the loggia’s historic hardware and blends harmoniously into the overall look. The modern bathroom with a shower is complemented by a vanity cabinet with a sink and a generously sized mirror. A spacious Art Nouveau coat closet in the hallway offers ample space for jackets and vacation attire. A washing machine and dryer are available in the building’s basement for a fee.
