"Landhaus Hochstaufenblick" at Gut Kollmannsbrunn is located about 15 km from Salzburg in the Berchtesgadener Land region, right next to a nature reserve with views of the surrounding pastures and Reichenhall’s local mountains—the Hochstaufen, Zwiesel, and Predigtstuhl. The Zwiesel apartment is located on the first floor of a vacation home with a total of three vacation apartments. It is surrounded by meadows and pastures, a few farmsteads, and other country homes in the municipalities of Bayerisch Gmain and Großgmain on the Austrian side. From the house, paved walking and biking trails lead directly to Bad Reichenhall (3 km), into nearby forests, and to the pilgrimage site of Großgmain in the Salzburg region, just 200 m away. Here, nature and culture blend perfectly: The adjacent Berchtesgadener Land National Park offers everything a nature lover could wish for: - Beautiful lakes such as Hintersee, Thumsee, and, last but not least, the famous Königssee; dramatic gorges and waterfalls such as Wimbachklamm, Aschauerklamm, and Almbachklamm, breathtaking views, and high-altitude hiking trails that are easily accessible by car or mountain railways to the Predigtstuhl, the Jenner, the Obersalzberg, and the Kehlstein. Historic monasteries and churches such as the parish church in Ramsau and the Maria Gern pilgrimage church. And if you’re tired of hiking, the sky is gray, or you’re longing for a cosmopolitan city, then the Mozart city of Salzburg—with its concerts, theaters, and art scene, as well as its tempting Austrian cuisine—offers everything your heart desires just a 20-minute drive away.

High quality apartment. Both bedroom and living room are dual aspect with mountain views. Ideal location without a car as it is on a bus route to Salzburg airport. Supermarkets, restaurants and bakeries in walking distance. Great choice of walks. We'll be returning.

Very nice and to the smallest details taking care of apartment. Apartement is fresh, very clean and complete.
The surroundings are very nice and rural. Perfect place for hike or bike. It is located nearby Salzburg, Koningssee and Berchtesgaden.
We very much enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for nine nights in apartment Zwiesel. What a wonderful place. It is a beautifully furnished apartment in perfect condition. It was lovely to meet Wilfried and Aurelia who were on hand to answer any queries and give recommendations. Aurelia was excellent to communicate with from initial contact. The location of the house is great. We decided on not renting a car and avail of public transport, which worked out very well. A little walk to the train station in Bayerisch Gmain. From here you can connect to Salzburg, Berchtesgaden, Konigsee, Eagles Nest, Munich etc. Bad Reichenhall is also a short walk away. The bus service is also excellent and good value if you buy a day ticket. The area is blessed with the most stunning scenery. It is a wonderful area for walking, hiking, cycling and a pure delight for photography. If visiting this area of Bavaria we would highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

The Zwiesel is a very nice and clean apartment located in a superb valley surrounded by mountains. We enjoyed having a walk after diner with the view on the country. The apartment is close to Salzburg and allows accessing many other interesting locations such as Hohenwerfen’s castle, Golling waterfall and the Untersberg cable car. The hosts are charming, accommodating and keeps the place very well organized. We really enjoyed our stay my wife and I and we warmly recommending this apartment.
