Beaches
There are 6 beaches in Cancale, the most interesting are located to the north of the center in the continuity of the beaches of Saint Coulomb.
You can swim there at low tide but they are subject to the prevailing winds (generally weak in summer). The beaches near the city center are better protected but the sea recedes far away at low tide (bay of Mont St Michel, you can swim there only at high tide).
From the nearby Pointe du Grouin, the panorama of Cap Fréhel and Granville is unforgettable. You can also see the Chausey Islands and the Landes Island which is an ornithological reserve.
