About this apartment rental
During your stay in THE SEVENTIES, relive in the 70s!
The studio overlooks the back of the building, in a quiet area and is ideally located in the Neudorf district, close to the city center within walking distance, and benefiting from all local shops: bakery, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, ...
Motorway and public transportation access are less than 5 minutes away! The train station is only 10 minutes away by tram (direct line).
A private parking space in the residence is available with the apartment.
The accommodation:
The Seventies can accommodate up to 3 adults and a baby thanks to the Queen size bed, an extra bed and a travel cot always available in the apartment.
The Seventies is equipped with everything you need for a stress-free stay of any length.
Kitchen:
Combined microwave and oven oven, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, coffee, tea, herbal teas, sugar.
Shower room:
Soap, towels, bath towels, bath mat, hairdryer, first aid kit
Bedroom:
TV with access to the operator's channels, bed linen, duvet cover, 65x65 cm pillows and ergomics
Safety: smoke detector.
A dedicated workspace with internet access with very high-speed fibre.
You can share a meal on the terrace without direct vis-à-vis.
Other information to note:
In the apartment you will find a book (French/English) with all the activities to see/do in Strasbourg and Alsace! Notice to epicureans, you will find in this book the addresses that for us, are essential to have a good time and enjoy good meals.
The cleaning package does not include emptying the bins, the fridge, cleaning and storing the dishes. In case of non-compliance, you may be asked for an additional fee. Thank you for your understanding.

Everything can be done within walking distance of the apartment.
The tram stations that are close to the apartment:
- "Etoile Polygone": 400 m, 4 minutes walk
- "Schlutfeld": 550 m, 6 minutes on foot
- "Etoile Bourse": 700 m, 9 minutes walk
- "Landsberg": 700 m, 9 minutes on foot

Bicycle rental (Vel'Hop) and car rental (CITIZ) are also possible nearby.

Wonderful communication from booking to check in from the host, Laura. Instructions for accessing the apartment and parking were clear and easy to follow. It was great to have a place close to the city center as we were visiting the Christmas markets (about a 15 minute walk) that also had parking for our car and a washer to do some laundry since we’d been traveling for about 10 days. There were plenty of restaurants and wonderful bakeries on the walk and we loved trying many of them. I highly recommend if you want a quiet neighborhood where you can safely park a car and get a good nights sleep while exploring Strasbourg.

We liked the fact that although it’s a studio, it is very spacious ( our luggages were not in the way). We also liked very much the location: 10 min walk to the center of the city, yet lots of things to do right around the corner. The large balcony and the private parking are big pluses.
The hosts were super accommodating and responsive. All in all, we would come back gladly

We loved our brief stay at Antoine and Laura’s apartment. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Lots of thoughtful touches - Antoine & Laura clearly have put some effort into the apartment. 25 minute walk to the old town; secure parking; lovely little balcony; good patisserie/bakery five minutes walk away; quiet residential area but restaurants and shopping centre just 5-10 minutes on foot. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the apartment and would certainly stay here again.

The booking system through Expedia was terrible. I believe it’s an associated website of Abritel and it appears the owner of the properties instructions didn’t carry over to Expedia. We subsequently had very little instruction as to get access to the property.
Weather this was the fault of the owner or not, once the owner was made aware of this they weren’t very understanding or helpful. They kept telling me instructions were ‘emailed’ when I hadn’t received anything. They didn’t take any accountability or apologise for any inconvenience, and their communication was in my opinion immature.
The room had a few issues, it had dust built up in places, the light from appliances at night was very bright (I had to go and switch everything off at the power socket), the kettle was disgusting, the doors had dirt from people’s hands and the fold out bed for our 4 year old collapsed under barely any weight and we had to sit the mattress on the floor.
It has a good location for the town centre and Christmas market, and would probably suit someone for a night, but overall I wouldn’t stay there again.
