About this house rental
The vacation home is situated in a wonderfully peaceful location on the edge of the forest.
The living room features a cozy seating area that can also be used as a sleeper sofa. Adjacent to it, separated by a curtain, is the bedroom with a large double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and a cozy high counter. The bright bathroom with a shower features a large radiator to help you start your day off cozy. The second bedroom offers sleeping space for two guests in a bunk bed (1.8 m long). The bright porch is perfect for a cozy breakfast or game nights together.
The hillside property covers 2,000 square meters. Behind the house is a barbecue area perfect for relaxing. Here, you can comfortably wind down the evening with a sundowner under tall trees. Seating, a grill, and a washer and dryer are located in a basement room. High-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi is available.
A recreational pool with a mini-golf course is within walking distance and is perfect for summer activities. The hiking trails that start right at the house are an ideal starting point for hikes along the Rennsteig or for bike tours through the Thuringian Forest.
The house has two driveways with space for up to 3 vehicles.
There are many sights to explore in the homeland of Goethe and Schiller. Gotha, Erfurt, and Weimar are all worth visiting. A special highlight is Wartburg Castle in Eisenach, featuring Luther’s study. Other castles and mines are open to visitors—it’s a wonderful region!
