The idyllic little town of Bischofsheim is located right on the Lower Franconian Rhön Biosphere Reserve at the foot of the Kreuzberg. Nestled among fields and meadows, our vacation home is the perfect place to enjoy relaxing days or active days filled with hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. With a magnificent view of the Kreuzberg, you can let your mind wander. Just relax on the covered terrace and listen to the babbling of the stream.
Wood, natural, cozy, sustainable—that’s exactly how the vacation rental is furnished. The moment you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the scent of wood.
The vacation rental by the stream features a 2x2m double bed, a 0.8x2m bunk bed, and a 140x2m pull-out couch, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. It’s individually and lovingly furnished with high-quality, natural materials. In the light-filled living-dining area, you can cook to your heart’s content and wind down the evening on the spacious terrace by the Haselbach.
The building also houses our family-run sports shop, which has been in our family for decades. In the summer, we offer e-bike and mountain bike rentals, and in the winter, cross-country and alpine ski rentals—not to mention a fantastic selection of sports and outdoor gear (a little treat for our guests: 10% off).
Important Note:
Bed linens and towels can/must be booked separately if needed:
Bed linens: 10€ per person
Towels: 8€ per person
The city of Bischofsheim charges a tourist tax of 1€ per day per adult, payable in cash upon arrival.
Since cleaning takes much longer for me when there are dogs present, there is an additional one-time pet cleaning fee of 50€.

We were there for 2 nights. The owners are very, very friendly and helpful and took care of all our questions and needs. The accommodation was just as described, - wonderful!
The situation is very quiet and and perfect for a relaxing stay. There is plenty of infrastructure in Bischofsheim for all your needs - eating out in the various cafes and restaurants a must!
The region is wonderful for walking, with plenty of natural features to discover and enjoy. Altogether, a perfect place to recuperate and enjoy the surrounding countryside and for nature-lovers, we can strongly recommend it.
