About this house rental
Comfortable holiday home for 9 people with a fenced garden, covered barbecue terrace and private pool.
This holiday home is a beautifully restored Istrian stone house with a large garden and a cozy covered terrace. The house is located in central Istria in Smoljanci, a small and quiet village. The well-known resort of Rovinj is about 13 km away. The holiday home guarantees a private atmosphere because of a stone wall that is not visible from the outside.
On the property you will not only find the private pool, but also many green plants that spoil you with their Mediterranean aroma and therefore offer relaxation for body and soul. During the construction of the house, attention was paid to every detail and every stone on the house was worked by hand.
House for 8 + 1 people: approx. 160 m² on three floors. The warm and tastefully decorated interior welcomes you as a home away from home. The ground floor has an open-plan living room with dining area and a direct exit to the outside terrace with dining area. A fully equipped kitchen will meet all of your needs. The bathroom with shower / toilet is also on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two double rooms, a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet. In the attic there is a large bedroom with double bed and two single beds (each 90x200 cm) and a living room with TV and couch (140x180; suitable for one person).
Other: The house is equipped with WiFi and there are private parking spaces available. For guests of the holiday home Mona Lisa there is free opportunity for a nice N.P. Brijuni and Dolphin boat trips departing from Pula. Up to 6 bicycles can be rented free of charge.

The old house is lovely and beautifully restored. It is very well equipped and arranged. The gardens are large and really lovely with flowers and trees. The pool is very clean and well kept. We had hot weather in June so bought fans (from Kaufland) for the bedrooms (they were great so we took them home!). The air con on the ground floor and second floor is very good. The village is nice and really quiet. We loved Svetvincenat which is beautiful and historic and very nearby. We were too hot to ask about bikes but we really enjoyed the boat trip from Pula to see dolphins. It was fantastic value especially with discount. Very nice atmosphere, friendly and peaceful. The dolphins and sunset were wonderful, we saw a turtle too. The food was really nice and plenty of drinks. Rovinj is delightful, not far away, and the coastline near there is also beautiful- perfect for swimming in clear waters, exploring rock pools and sitting under the trees. It was our first trip to Croatia and we loved it, will definitely return. We had very good food and friendly service. Sanja and Christian responded straight away to any queries and were both friendly and very helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

House Mona Lisa was just what we needed! The perfect house in the most picturesque and charming place. We loved every moment including the pool, the fresh tomatoes in the garden, the bbq and the medieval festival in Svetvincenat. The host family was very helpful and their dolphin cruise in Pula was magical. The house was clean and spacious and the perfect location for day trips to Bale, Rovinj and Pula. A very kid friendly house and again thanks so much to the Vidra family! Hvala!
