About this cottage rental
The cottage is located in an old house, enclosed by walls, very quiet 2 steps from the forest of Trois Pignons (Domaine de Fontainebleau).
Gîte 4 pers. a large 2 room apartment of 50 m2

(no television to enjoy the calm of the countryside but we have Internet and wifi)

A living room with its open kitchen of 30 m2 overlooks a paved courtyard with garden upstairs, a bedroom of 20 m2 with a bed of 140 /200.
Very comfortable sofa bed lounge area
(sleeping for 2 people).
Mezzanine in the bedroom:
An extra bed for a 5th person is installed on the mezzanine for an extra 50€ / week.
The mezzanine is not recommended for children.
We accept dogs and cats (2 maximum), category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed.
Ideal for resting, listening to the birds.
Come and spend a week or more in the countryside away from our big cities.
The GR 32 passes in front of the house for your hikes or bike rides.
2 bicycles are available.
A cleaning package will be offered if you do not want to do the cleaning at the exit. The dishes must be done and the bins must be taken out in the outdoor bins.

We LOVED staying at this beautiful, cosy and well maintained property. It was exactly what you would want: clean, warm, excellent facilities, a beautiful garden and easy access to the stunning countryside around. We greatly enjoyed all communication with our hosts, who were friendly, caring and well-organised. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They were especially kind to our two children - despite what may occasionally have been a bit of unwanted noise they were making. We will definitely be back. Thank you thank you.

The cottage is idyllic and romantically beautiful. The furnishings are simple and functional. I enjoyed the fragrant flowers and the warm hospitality of Michel and Sylvie. Nearby is the beautiful forest where you can walk and climb. You can share the beautiful gate and garden with the owners. I only missed a bakery in the village. Beautiful village with beautiful stone walls and gardens. Calm and quiet place, like to come back.Wish I was still there.

fair accomodations for those who do not have hi expectations. no thermostat resulted in cold evenings. no cleaning for 4 days was included leaving towels less than pleasant after a while. hosts pleasant and helpful supplying maps and fruit jelly. security could buy a complete new gite, so not realistic. this also goes for the daily rate which is steep for what you get. town is uneventful, greater area is definitely worth the visit.
