Spacious but horrendously uncomfortable

It is very well located near the city centre and an easy walk to the train station. The washing machine was good.

The apartment is spacious but it is NOT comfortable in any way. The living room does NOT work. The only way to watch TV is to move the heavy sofa. Which we are instructed to move back at the end. So they know it is a problem. The wicker seat is dreadfully uncomfortable. And does not have a cushion/throw shown in the photos. . The footstool in the photos is not there. Neither are the place mats shown on the table,. or coverings on the chairs. The double bedroom is configured so there is no bedside table or lamp on one side. The double mattress was far too hard to sleep on, even with a mattress topper. We lasted 1 (sleepless, painful) night then ended up in single beds in the second room for the next 3 nights. HYGEINE ISSUES were our main concern. The bathroom was dirty on arrival. There clearly has been no deep clean done there for a while. Pink mould on the tiles when we arrived. Not acceptable in any way. The sink is cracked. Small crack but dirt is already starting to show. There are no mattress or pillow protectors on any beds. These are not luxury items. They should be standard, and changed with the bedding. There was a suspicious yellow stain and a clear blood stain on one mattress. A revolting dirty mark on that bedroom wall completed the unpleasant discoveries. Most of the cereal bowls were chipped or cracked, and belonged in the bin. As does one of the mugs, which is also chipped. The cooker was fine - but had nonstandard timing feature that had to be set to use the hob. No instructions anywhere in sight.. We looked. Then resorted to Google. The kitchen had no colander or sieve, making straining pasta and washing blueberries a pain. Only discovered after I had been shopping Overall the apartment was a huge disappointment
