About this apartment rental
Are you looking for peace, rest, and relaxation in nature? Then we have just the thing for you!
Our family-run inn is situated in a beautiful location in the heart of an idyllic farming village, near the Inn floodplains and meadows close to Bad Füssing.
The Hackerhof is situated on the edge of the Inn floodplains bird sanctuary, near the Austrian border, within the famous spa triangle of Bad Füssing, Bad Griesbach, and Bad Birnbach. For our guests, it’s an ideal starting point for accessing all the spa and therapeutic facilities in these famous healing resorts. The spa town of Bad Füssing, with all its spa offerings, is just a stone’s throw away. The Hackerhof offers a wide range of recreational activities. Whether it’s horseback riding, hiking, biking, swimming, or spa treatments, you’ll certainly never be bored here.
The Hackerhof itself is still a traditional four-sided farmstead characterized by fully intact agricultural operations. Right next to it are our newly built vacation apartments, which leave nothing to be desired for a carefree vacation.
Our vacation home is situated in a quiet location surrounded by nature. From all of the apartments, you’ll enjoy an idyllic view of the Inn Valley, horse paddocks, meadows, and fields.
Whether you’re traveling alone or with your loved ones, our family-friendly apartments can accommodate up to four people. An extra crib can be provided at any time.
The vacation apartments, furnished in a modern, rustic style, all feature separate living and sleeping areas as well as a balcony or terrace. A separate dining area, kitchenette, refrigerator, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi are also included as standard amenities.
Our village of Aufhausen
The village of Aufhausen was first mentioned in historical records as early as 1010.
At that time, Emperor Henry II donated the village from his royal estates to the Niedernburg Abbey in Passau. Old farm names attest to the fact that our village was settled by workers involved in Inn River shipping and the collection of tithes. The Hacker Farm, for example, was responsible for clearing the towpath for the draft horses that pulled the heavily laden ships on the Inn River upstream.
In 1803, our village passed from the possession of the Bishop of Passau to Bavaria, and with the district reform, it returned to Bad Füssing. In Aufhausen, guests are still an integral part of everyday village life!
