Our former farmhouse is located in the Haindorf district, on the outskirts of Aschau im Chiemgau, heading toward Bernau and Lake Chiemsee. Let your gaze wander and enjoy the impressive panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and Hohenaschau Castle. We offer accessible rooms and self-catering vacation apartments that you can easily reach via an elevator inside the building. Please note that the showers have a small step and are therefore only partially suitable for wheelchair users—however, one of our vacation apartments is specially equipped for wheelchair access. Free parking is available right next to the building, and there is also a separate side entrance for all vacation apartments and rooms. Please note that dogs and other pets are not permitted. This spacious 90 m² non-smoking vacation apartment accommodates up to 6 people and invites you to enjoy restful days filled with comfort and relaxation. Enjoy the evening sun on the beautiful west-facing balcony—the perfect place to wind down at the end of the day in a cozy atmosphere. Thanks to the elevator in the building, you can reach the apartment conveniently and with full accessibility. The kitchen-living room is a real highlight: fully equipped with a refrigerator (including a freezer), stove/oven, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, and everything you need to prepare delicious meals. The large round dining table offers plenty of space for meals and is ideal for social gatherings. The two cozy bedrooms, each with a flat-screen cable TV, blackout curtains, and a double bed (180 x 200 cm), ensure a restful night’s sleep. One of the bedrooms opens onto the balcony and features two fold-out guest beds (90 x 200 cm) as well as a reading chair. It also offers the option of using the guest bed as a family bed with a safety rail for small children. The bathroom features a shower/toilet, a bathtub, and a hair dryer—perfect for a relaxing start to the day. For even more comfort, there is a separate toilet. The summer swimming spot is right nearby, while the train station, a supermarket, and a restaurant are just a ten-minute walk away. The Orthopedic Children’s Clinic is 280 meters away, and the town center is 900 meters away. Experience nature up close! Numerous hiking and valley trails start right from the house. Explore the impressive mountain scenery on a hike to the Kampenwand, enjoy the tranquility of the Bärnsee Nature Reserve, or take a bike ride around Lake Chiemsee. The surrounding area also offers a variety of recreational activities. A tennis court, the Chiemgau high ropes course, a Kneipp pool, a swimming spot, and another idyllic moor bathing spot are just a stone’s throw away. By car, you can easily explore Lake Chiemsee, Lake Königsee, and Berchtesgaden. In just over an hour, you can easily reach Munich or Salzburg by train—perfect for a day trip.
For even more convenience, a washing machine (for a fee), an iron, and an ironing board are available for general use. A travel crib can be provided upon request for a fee. A high chair and a bed rail are also available, ensuring that families with small children can feel right at home. A clothes drying rack is also provided in all apartments.
