Very nice stop in the northern woods. The check in wasn't smooth. We never received the access code so we had to call a number to receive the code. It was easy after we called but would have been nice to just receive it like the email stated. There was a cigarette butt in the planter by the door which was not attractive to nonsmokers arriving. There was also a leftover towel under the bed.
Otherwise, the room was very clean, the room was remodeled nicely, and it was a quiet place to stop with only 8 available motel type rooms on the property. The restaurant building was not open on the day that we stayed. We would stay here again.

Really clean quick check in

It was comfortable, safe, convenient dining. I could have enjoyed another pillow or 2. Directions to breakfast were confusing: 1 mile down the road? Key pad has 2 arrows and it was not clear requiring number re entry. Thank you.

You never really know what to expect from a motel but it was super easy to get into our room and cozy atmosphere. Loved the natural wood floors. Convenient location for exploring nearby waterfalls.
