Mike was an awesome host. Everything was just as expected. We loved that the cabin was a perfect mix of rustic and modern. There was so much extra space and the property was stunning. We definitely plan to come back next year.

Mike's place was great. House was clean, beds were all made and clean, outdoor area was ample and enjoyable, right on the beach and dock was a huge bonus. Easy communication and entry was a breeze. We would 100% rent this property again.

Mike was a good host, communication was timely and the check in process was smooth.The property itself is nice. Cozy, lakfront house with a big yard, as advertised.The cleanliness was a problem. I'm not sure if the host cleans it or if he has a company clean it, but it left a lot to be desired. The main issues:- there was a strong smell of urine throughout the main floor near the kitchen. I'm guessing a dog peed inside and it was never cleaned, it smelled stronger on warmer days- it seemed like something was living inside the couch on the main floor. All of us heard scratching and movement coming from the couch, so we moved it around to see if we could find something. We saw nothing, but the sound was definitely coming from the couch, so we're guessing there's a mouse finding its way in there. I also heard movement either in the main floor bedroom or in the walls in the middle of the night - upon arrival, there were a couple of bags of dog poop left outside by the front door. Not a strong first impression- there were cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere outside. The walkout basement patio was a mess, the ping pong table had a layer of grime, and the patio furniture was covered in cobwebs. We took the hose to the entire patio area to make it usable, but it was still uncomfortably messyThe yard and lake access make it a great property, but for the cost, we shouldn't have had any of these issues.
