The only thing we liked about this apartment was its central location in Malta.

Unfortunately, our experience with this apartment was very disappointing, mainly because of the extremely poor cleanliness and hygiene upon arrival. When we arrived, the apartment was extremely dirty and unhygienic. We found stains, hair, dirt and other signs that the apartment had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. The condition was so unacceptable that we had to contact the staff and ask them to come and clean the apartment again. One staff member came to clean the bathroom, but we actually had to point out ourselves what was dirty and what needed to be cleaned. Even after the cleaning, some areas were still not properly cleaned. The person who had originally cleaned the apartment before our arrival did not return to correct the problems. Instead, another person was sent to deal with the situation. The hallway also had to be mopped, and all the bed linens had to be changed because they were dirty, stained and covered in hair. We took numerous photos showing the condition of the apartment when we arrived. These are not just minor details — the more we inspected the apartment, the more dirt and unclean areas we found. What made the situation even worse was the amount of time we lost dealing with this issue. We arrived at 3:30 PM after travelling and were extremely tired, but by 7:30 PM the apartment was still being cleaned. We were unable to properly rest, lie down or enjoy our accommodation because we had to wait for the apartment to be cleaned and corrected. In total, we lost around four hours of our stay because of a cleanliness problem that should never have existed in the first place. For the price we paid, we expected the apartment to be clean, hygienic and ready for guests upon arrival. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. The condition of the apartment significantly affected our stay and caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

Prima.
