It was not a comfortable stay and we will not be booking with this host ever again.

The location.

Unfortunately there were a lot of issues with this apartment and problems with communication with the host. We will not be booking with this company Clabao further in the future. The points below were all pointed out to the host via the booking app and they did not care and did not even apologise. 1. First, the link to open the building door was not working. They were aware of our arrival time and did not care at all. We tried to call several times, left messages on booking and by WhatsApp. It got to the point that they were typing to reply, not understanding the issue, and we were calling them and they would not pick up but would reply in the next second by text? This was just inconsiderate and rude. They only replied and presented a solution when we mentioned that we would need to contact booking. 2. When we got in, the sofa bed was opened like someone had slept there and no one tidied/cleaned the apartment between stays. We tidied it up and when closing the sofa bed and turning it into a sofa, the floor was full of crumbles and obviously not clean. In general, the floor of the apartment was not cleaned at all and the toilet was visibly dirty as well. 3. The table had some marks from glasses (which were not cleaned but could and should easily have been cleaned). 4. The fans in the ceiling were not working and we asked several times for instructions/solution and they ignored us. 5. One of the pillows in the bed did not have a cover, which again shows that the cleaning was not done or was not properly done. The duvet in the bed and the sofa bed also had very visible stains. 6. The cupboards in the kitchen were full of hand marks and the wine glasses had lipstick stains, which show again lack of cleaning. 7. There were cigarette butts in the balconies, like someone was smoking there or above and it fell there. In either case, it wasn’t cleaned.

Too hot

The location was fantastic, opposite the church and round the corner from San Juan street where all the pinchos are. A really good sofa bed. Really good shower too. Clear instructions on how to access the key to the property.

We couldn't check in till 4pm which I think is very late. When we arrived at the property at 4.10pm, the cleaner was still there. She left quickly but the floor was still wet and wasn't really clean. When we used the oven a huge amount of smoke came out indicating it wasn't clean at all. There was no air con. There are ceiling fans that would be ok if it wasn't the middle of August. Somehow this property slipped through my filter. My entire family couldn't sleep for 2 nights because it was so hot. I would not recommend staying during the weekend if you intend on having some of your group sleep in the living room. The noise from the cafe below was very loud and my children found this made it more difficult to sleep. We also did not feel completely safe. The main front door on the street - anyone can buzz and let themselves in. If you push the button it automatically buzzes you in. As a result, we double locked the corridor door and the flat we were in. At 2am the police aggressively knocked on the corridor door. They shouted at us that the family next door could not get in because we had used the lower lock. This lock has a key but it seems no one had it. We were not told not to lock it. All in all, for our family of 4 this place was not suitable at all. I'm sure if you are single or a couple it may be fine if you don't stay in July or August.

Apartamento con gestión pésima

La ubicación

Cogimos los dos apartamentos, se suponía que tenían capacidad para 10 personas. Nuestra sorpresa al llegar fue que no había cama para dos personas. Nos tocó comprar un colchón hinchable en el bazar (que nos dijeron que nos abonarían después) pasados un par de meses seguimos esperando a que respondan y nos abonen el colchón

El apartamento tenía una ubicación inmejorable, estaba reformado, era moderno, estaba muy limpio, bien equipado y con un buen tamaño para dos personas.

El apartamento se ofrece para 6 personas, pero claramente no está preparado para ello. Únicamente hay una habitación doble. El resto de huéspedes deben dormir en sofá cama, uno de ellos aceptable, el otro una tabla dura en la que resultaba imposible dormir. Máximo deberían ofrecerlo para 4 huéspedes. Le comentamos el problema, nos respondieron que no podían resolverlo (ni cambiando la cama ni realizando un reembolso parcial acorde a las circunstancias).
