Himmelberg Vacation Park is centrally located between the Moselle, Saar, Nahe, and Rhine rivers, making it easy to take exciting trips in all directions! The world-famous Roman city of Trier and the romantic wine town of Bernkastel-Kues are approximately 35 km away. The park itself is located about 500 m above the climatic health resort of Thalfang on the Erbeskopf. In Thalfang, there are several restaurants, a modern indoor swimming pool with a sunbathing area and sauna, and everything you need for daily life. All around, you can enjoy the varied low-mountain landscape of the Hunsrück. The “Erbeskopf” winter sports center (816 m) and Germany’s best long-distance hiking trail, the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, are just 8 km away. Right on the Erbeskopf is the mountain bike park with downhill trails. Mountain bike enthusiasts are guaranteed to get their money’s worth here.
