Very Disappointing – Would Not Recommend

We were unable to stay at this property due to serious issues on arrival. The entrance door was broken and we could not even get inside initially, which caused a long delay. When we finally entered, the apartment was clearly not clean and there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout. The sofa and general condition of the flat were not hygienic, and the property did not match the standard shown in the listing. This was particularly problematic as one of our party has asthma, making the smoky and unclean environment impossible to tolerate. There is virtually nowhere to put your clothes, the wardrobe is full of other items belonging to the flat, it was clearly used as storage by the owner or the management, and the wardrobe door was not even accessible from where it was located. You could not open the door to the bathroom properly because the washing machine was in the way. The fridge had food remains all over it. It was horrific. We asked for a refund and were promised a full refund to be transferred to us. We did not leave because of the sofa bed (which was clearly stated in the listing), but because the apartment was dirty, smelled of smoke, and had maintenance issues. The accommodation did not refund the full price paid and disappeared. Very disappointing experience and poor handling of the refund request. We are continuing with a formal complaint process until full resolution of this unfortunate situation.

A clean and bright apartment in a great location!

I absolutely loved this apartment's location. It's right on a tram line, a block away from the beach front, and an easy stroll into the Centre Ville and Old Town precincts. It is bright, and the kitchen has enough basics to prepare simple meals when I felt like staying in. I found the bed comfy enough. The bathroom is compact but everything works! It wasn't a problem for mw, but keep in mind there are a few flights of stairs to take to reach the apartment. The owners are pleasant and were quick to fix the few issues that arose when I first arrived. I would stay here again!

There was a strong smell coming from the shower drain, but it was quickly dealt with by the owners. It's also a shame there's only a sofa bed when it is a big enough apartment to accommodate a proper bed. Overall, though, I was very happy with my stay at this property.
