Very disappointing experience – property not as advertised

Good Location only, apart from this everything was filthVery disappointing experience – property not as advertised I normally do not leave reviews, but unfortunately choosing this property was a very bad decision. The location is good, there is no doubt about that. However, apart from the location, almost everything about our stay was disappointing. The property looks modern and attractive in the listing photos. Based on those photos, I actually cancelled another booking at a property next door and chose this one instead, even though this property was around 60% more expensive, because I expected a much better and more modern accommodation. Unfortunately, the property was nothing like the pictures. As soon as we opened the door, there was a very unpleasant smell throughout the flat. We had to open all the windows and clean the tables, floors and kitchen counters ourselves just to make the place bearable. The flat was extremely dirty. My child's bare feet became black from walking on the floor. The bed sheets had stains, the face towels were dirty, and there were broken items throughout the property, including a broken chair. The property was very run-down. Bathroom window was broken and could not be properly secured. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Shower was broken. Shower itself was also damaged. Bathroom was dirty and poorly maintained. Mattress was very uncomfortable. Beds base was broke The iron was filthy and left our clothes dirty.

Several amenities advertised in the listing were not provided, including a washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine. I contacted the host about the condition of the property and requested a refund. Unfortunately, the host refused and only offered to send someone to clean the property again. I also requested a partial refund, but this was refused as well. The checkout experience was also very disappointing. Checkout was at 11:00 AM. We were in the process of packing and were running slightly late. At exactly 11:00 AM, someone knocked on the door and forced us to leave. Despite all the problems we had experienced during the stay, I would have expected some basic courtesy and flexibility. Instead, there was an argument and we were told that we had 30 minutes to leave or they would contact the authorities. After further discussion, they eventually agreed to give us one hour. Overall, this was a very poor experience. The property is nowhere near the standard suggested by the photographs, and in my opinion it is significantly overpriced for what is actually provided. I could have stayed at the property next door for around 60% less, but I cancelled that booking because I believed this property was a much better and more modern option based on the listing photographs. I deeply regret that decision. I would strongly recommend that future guests carefully consider the condition of this property before booking and not rely solely on the photographs in the listing. Given the condition of the accommodation and the difference between what was advertised and what was actually provided, I also intend to raise my concerns with the relevant authorities regarding the property's condition and licensing. Overall: very disappointing and not worth the price paid.

The location was great . Washer/dryer is handy , but the dryer is not very good . Spaceous unit . Ample kitchen amenities. Parking was very convenient.

The unit could use a little updating and a deep cleaning .

O apartamento superou nossas expectativas e possui tudo o que precisamos para uma ótima estadia. A localização é excelente, muito perto de tudo em South Beach, e o fato de ter garagem é um grande diferencial para a região. No geral, um imóvel excelente e que certamente voltaríamos a alugar!

Isolamento acústico: As janelas dos quartos (que dão de frente para a Collins Ave) não vedam bem o som externo, então o barulho dos bares e do movimento da rua atrapalha bastante à noite. Acessórios e utensílios: Vale rever a conservação dos itens de cozinha, pois o forno do fogão não funcionou durante nossa estadia. Conforto da cama: Achamos os travesseiros e os colchões muito finos.
