About the "Waldglück" Vacation Home: Our farmhouse, built in 1890 and completely renovated from 2020 to 2022, offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax in the beautiful Franconian Forest. With 145 m² of space, it offers plenty of room for 1–4 people to enjoy an unforgettable vacation. In the large living/dining room—featuring a 65-inch flat-screen TV, a small office nook, and access to the beautiful terrace—there’s no limit to how much you can unwind. You can also barbecue here—whether with gas or charcoal is up to your preference. Furthermore, you can wind down the day at the lovely campfire site. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, stove, oven, electric kettle, egg cooker, toaster, automatic coffee maker, filter coffee maker, bread slicer, and blender, leaves nothing to be desired. The vacation home features 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. The spacious bathroom with a bathtub is perfect for relaxing. There are several cozy reading nooks throughout the house. On the first floor, you’ll find the sauna, a restroom, a large walk-in shower, a washer and dryer, as well as a spacious lounge or hobby room with lounge chairs, a ping-pong table, and a 55-inch flat-screen TV for your game console. Please note that pets are not allowed. You can use the Wi-Fi and the parking lot in front of the house free of charge. Visit our neighbors, where you can experience exciting llama hikes! Or treat yourself to some downtime at one of the most beautiful thermal spas, located just 12 km away in Bad Steben. Here you’ll find the perfect blend of activity and relaxation. For the active among you, exciting trails await on the Döbraberg, and in winter, there’s the opportunity for cross-country skiing (with a trailhead just 900 meters from the house). In nearby Schwarzenbach am Wald, a small ski slope with a lift and a cozy mountain hut await you—perfect for a winter outing. For other activities such as a climbing and jump park, a maze, a swimming lake, an indoor pool, and great dining in the Frankenwald culinary region, we’ve listed some links for you on our website. A deposit of 20% of the total price is due upon booking. The balance is due 30 days before arrival. Check-in is available from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Check-out is between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to arrange this, if necessary. A security deposit of 500.00 EUR in cash is due on site. Keys will be handed over in person on site.
