Assisi Garden Suite is a historic residence dating back to the 1300s, located in the heart of Assisi’s historic center. Surrounded by vegetable gardens and olive trees, this residence offers an oasis of tranquility, privacy, and breathtaking views.
Our private garden is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty and peace that only Assisi can offer. Here, Assisi’s characteristic “pink stone,” which adorns the arches of the house’s cross vaults, tells a story spanning over 700 years.
We’ve decided to share this wonderful experience with friends and new guests, offering the opportunity to stay in a unique and historic setting.

Welcome to your home in Assisi!
This historic house, built by a bishop of that era, is a gem in the heart of Assisi.
Right on the first floor, bricks of various colors were used to build the vaults. This was the entrance to the secret underground passageway that connected many houses in Assisi—particularly those of high-ranking prelates or nobles—to the churches, the “Rocca” castle of Assisi, and large underground halls, where they would meet regularly and in secret.
Light yellow, dark yellow, red, pink, gray, white, and other shades of bricks create a truly unique feature on the ceiling of the house. The house has belonged to our family since the 1930s. During the 2004 renovation, the vaults were sandblasted and cleaned, restoring them to their former splendor after 700 years. We decided to grout the bricks with pink grout to make this magnificent medieval architectural masterpiece even more distinctive.
From the garden, you can admire a splendid view of the Umbrian valley and the sunset, which hides behind the hills of Perugia in summer and behind the Martani Hills in winter; you can smell the scent of white roses and jasmine that adorn the garden.
We believe that by staying here, you will not only feel the history that has enveloped these walls over the centuries, but also the serenity and spirituality of Assisi, such a serene and magical city. Assisi offers the beauty of the works of master stonemasons and master builders of the era, with magnificent views of the valley and sunsets that you can enjoy right from the house or the garden.
