The newly built Strandresidenz Haus Else Marie apartment complex, completed in 2018, is located in a quiet beachfront setting, right on the Ahlbeck Promenade. With beach access right outside the door and the surrounding greenery of the nearby forest, the location can be described as particularly attractive. Most of the apartments offer a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea and the beach. Guests staying in the apartments at the back can enjoy even more sunshine. The beach is particularly wide and beautiful along this stretch. A short distance from the pier and Ahlbeck’s main beach, you can swim and relax in peace here. The famous historic pier in Ahlbeck is about a 10- to 15-minute walk away. A wide variety of shopping options, restaurants, and bars in the seaside resort await guests. The three imperial spas offer an eventful summer of art and culture, as well as a diverse range of events even outside the peak season. The “Baltic Hills” golf course is about a 10-minute drive away.

A special highlight is offered during the off-season (September 15–June 15): Guests have free access to a small wellness area in the building, featuring two sauna rooms (Finnish and bio sauna), including showers and a relaxation room. The saunas are available daily from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This family-friendly, modern 3-room apartment with a living area of approximately 62 square meters is located on the first floor and offers a direct view of a wooded lot. It is equipped with sleeping accommodations and kitchen facilities for up to 6 people plus a toddler or baby, ensuring that every family can feel at home and enjoy a relaxing stay on the Baltic Sea right by the water.

The functionally furnished living area features a cozy seating area with a sleeper sofa (sleeping surface 140 x 200), an armchair, and a large flat-screen TV. The dining area for 6 people (a high chair is also available) and the kitchenette—equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, etc.—are open-concept and integrated into the rear section of the living room. The covered south/west-facing balcony promises plenty of sunshine. Here you can enjoy the sun’s rays starting at noon while the “kids” play on the beach right outside the front door. Feel free to use the electric grill provided for a barbecue evening on the balcony. The balcony is accessible from both the living room and the larger bedroom. The sideboard contains a variety of board games and children’s books for almost all age groups, perfect for rainy days or evenings.

The south-facing bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200, full-length mattress), a small wardrobe, and an additional TV. A baby/toddler bed (140 x 70) is also available here (blanket and pillow for the crib are not provided). The second bedroom features a bunk bed (140 x 200, 90 x 200, and 90 x 190) that can accommodate a total of four children, along with a wardrobe. A separate TV is available for the children. From the window, you can watch the sunset over the Baltic Sea. The modern bathroom with a window is equipped with a walk-in shower and a sink/toilet.

Don’t want Baltic Sea sand in the apartment? No problem: On the same floor as the apartment, there is a spacious storage room assigned to the apartment that guests can use for beach gear, strollers, suitcases, etc. In the storage room, you’ll also find various sand toys, a handcart, and a stroller for our little guests.

A parking space is available in the building’s underground garage. (Please note: double parking space—max. car height 1.90 m, max. car length 5.20 m, max. car width 2.20 m, max. load capacity 2.6 t).
