Wir waren 5 Nächte bei Sergio & Nicoletta und es hat uns super gefallen. Die Zimmer sind praktisch neu und es fehlte uns an nichts. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil, da das B&B am Rand von Strettoia liegt. Das Auto kann gratis vor dem B&B parkiert werden und das Grundstück ist umzäunt und abgeschlossen. Das Frühstück ist tiptop und wurde liebevoll von den Gastgebern jeweils vorbereitet.

This place is plain beautiful! Its a small B&B with three rooms, run by two elderly and super friendly people. All is new and shiny, very clean and well maintained, resembling a beautiful tuscany country style. There is private parking on site, a well maintained garden with a seating area. The room itself has just the right size, allowing for a longer stay for two people. In-suite bathroom is super clean with a very nice shower. Our room had a little foyer with a reading chair. All is (apparently) air conditioned, but we did not need it, as it cooled down during the nights anyway. Breakfast is decent, with cereals, coffee some pastries or similar. Its NOT a big buffet breakfast, but thats something we did not expect. Bed was a bit on the hard side, but I suppose thats depending on personal taste anyway. Location is quiet, although you get some morning traffic when people get to work. There is no through traffic tho. It is NOT close to the beach, but hey, look at the map ;-). Beach is about 10 mins away by driving (we went to the public beach, which is north of Forte dei Marmi and free of charge). Some restaurants are in walking distance (mostly pizzerias).
Would we stay there again? Yes definitely! Its a lovely place.
do I need to complain about something? Nah, all is fine! But I do have two tiny comments here, that would make a perfect place even more perfect:
- A reading lamp in the room's foyer next to the reading chair would be great, so I can enjoy my books in the evenings too.
- The coffee maker is a bit of a challenge because the capsules you insert sometimes fall right thru to the bin, if you don't do it right. But you get acquainted to it after a few tries ;-)

Il Casone ist ein wunderschönes, sehr neues und mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltetes Haus. Die Einrichtung im italienischen Stil ist ausgesprochen geschmackvoll, hell und stilvoll. Schon bei der Einfahrt auf den Hof hat man das Gefühl, in einem kleinen Paradies angekommen zu sein. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön gestaltet.
Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Unsere Junior-Suite war großzügig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die äußerst bequemen Betten, das gepflegte Badezimmer, die einwandfrei funktionierende Klimaanlage und die Möglichkeit, die Räume wunderbar abzudunkeln.
Die überschaubare Anzahl an Zimmern und die schöne Gestaltung des Hauses schaffen eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Auch die Möglichkeit, in der Junior-Suite auf der ausziehbaren Couch weitere Personen oder Kinder unterzubringen, ist sehr praktisch. Ein Parkplatz direkt auf dem Grundstück, die Möglichkeit, Getränke im Kühlschrank zu lagern, sowie die vorhandene Mikrowelle sind ebenfalls schöne Annehmlichkeiten.
Das Frühstück war für uns ausreichend und wir sind immer satt geworden. Es wird bereits vorbereitet und bereitgestellt. Wer allerdings ein klassisches Frühstücksbuffet mit einer Auswahl an Käse, Wurst, Eiern und weiteren Speisen zum selbstständigen Bedienen erwartet, sollte wissen, dass das Angebot anders gestaltet ist. Das ist grundsätzlich völlig in Ordnung, könnte aber für den einen oder anderen Gast bei der Auswahl der Unterkunft eine Rolle spielen.
Die Sitzplatzsituation beim Frühstück ist ebenfalls etwas ungewöhnlich: Es gibt einen großen gemeinsamen Tisch, an dem die Gäste zusammensitzen.
Insgesamt hatten wir einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Il Casone ist eine außergewöhnlich liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen!
