RATING 1 – The worst accommodation experience we have ever had!!The attached photos speak for themse
We booked this property for 3 nights, for 4 adults and a 5-year-old child, based on its presentation and rating on Booking.com. Unfortunately, what we found upon arrival was completely different from what we would reasonably expect from a property listed on this platform.
We arrived at approximately 1:00 AM, after a long journey from Lefkada, and we were shocked by the condition of the apartment. We stayed for that night only because we were travelling with a 5-year-old child and, at that hour, we had no reasonable alternative. The following morning, we left the property and urgently found alternative accommodation for the remainder of our stay.
The apartment was in a deplorable condition, with obvious issues regarding cleanliness, hygiene and maintenance. There were damaged doors and furniture, a bathroom in very poor condition with rust and deteriorated sanitary fixtures, a poorly maintained and deteriorated kitchen, as well as numerous other problems clearly visible in the photographs attached to this review.
For us, the conditions we found were even more difficult to accept considering that we were travelling with a 5-year-old child.
Although our reservation was for 3 nights and we left the property after the first night because of the conditions we found, the property refused to refund us for the remaining 2 nights that we did not stay there. We requested a refund precisely because we felt that we could not continue our stay under these conditions, but our request was refused. As a result, not only did we have to find and pay for alternative accommodation, but we also lost the amount paid for two nights that we did not spend at this property.
Another extremely unpleasant issue was the way an additional fee was requested after the accommodation had already been paid for.
