Never again. Overpriced, with a deceving and an unprofessional management
Clean, close to VA Waterfront
- Management and staff: Very unfortunate to have witnessed such treatment. A very uncooperative team and deceptive. After having an emergency change of plans and requesting if there’s a possibility to adjust booking dates, the team verbally agreed. To which I went ahead and proceeded with changing my flights once I learned that I can get refunded (almost R27k for 3 nights) when I followed up, the team denied my request out of the blue, when I discussed the matter, they asked me to share evidence and raise it with Booking, which I did and shared with them through Whatsapp, once I provided all the necessary details I got dead silence from the team, even though I followed up on almost daily basis. It’s a very unprofessional behavior and scammy. It’s unfortunate because the dates I wanted to change were Jan 2- Jan 5, which I’m pretty sure the property can get booked at again, but instead they chose the lazy option and decided to get unprofessional.
- Broken furniture: Dining table was broken, so we had no dining table, and of course, no compensation on the inconvenience even though this means a mismatch between what was listed on Booking and the listing itself.
- Rude security members: For some reason, the security guy was unnecessarily rude with us, made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome
- Lack of providing requested items: The unit’s living room doesn’t have an AC! (Wasn’t mentioned on Booking before), when asked for a fan or if there’s anything that can be done, of course, management never responded
I took a leap of faith and booked this property even though there were no reviews, but trusted that the management and stay would be pleasant. Absolutely mistaken.
