Not as advertised – we felt scammed

Absolutely nothing.

We left after one night of a planned 10-night family holiday because what we found was materially different from what we booked. The advertised swimming pool did not exist as a functioning pool. Instead, there was a large unfinished concrete structure with construction materials and exposed pipes around it, with no barrier between our room and the structure. This was particularly concerning with a young child, especially since we had specifically been told in writing that the area was fenced. The room was also not properly clean, with dirt, dust, insects, cobwebs and dirty items. The toilet and washbasin were not securely fixed. The loft was unbearably hot despite the AC, to the point that two adults and a child ended up trying to sleep downstairs on the sofa bed. We had also received written confirmation that our two small dogs were welcome, yet the owner subsequently complained about their presence and blamed the previous manager for having authorised them. When we raised the problems, the owner's attitude was confrontational rather than helpful. We left the following morning because there was no realistic way we could spend another nine nights there. What makes this even worse is that the property refused to refund our money after we left. We paid for a 10-night family holiday, stayed one night because of these conditions, and our holiday was effectively ruined. Given the difference between what we booked and what we actually found, and the subsequent refusal to refund our money, we genuinely feel scammed. I cannot recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Very comfortable suite in a quiet area. Super hosts!

Was missing a couple of essential items if wanting to use the kitchen - cups for coffee, bowls, spoons and salt. Location pin sent us to a different street which had us lost for a short time.

Meme si le logement semble neuf, il ne semble pas sain et est très peu fonctionnel.

Le logement est récent

Horrible odeur de moisissures dans toute la maison qui refuse de partir malgré le désodorisant, c'était vraiment très désagréable. Encore en travaux, le gérant nous avait dit qu'il y aurait une piscine 1 mois avant notre arrivée et surprise, la piscine n'était pas du tout finie (juste un trou béant, dangereux pour les enfants). Le logement n'est pas très propre (poussière et cheveux sur le sol, taches sur les serviettes). La cuisine manque cruellement d'ustensiles (pas de passoire, 3 verres, 3 assiettes....) Il n'y a qu'un lit double et un lit simple, alors que nous étions 4 et que le gérant nous avait dit pas de problème. Il y a bien un clic clac mais aucun linge de lit n'a été fourni pour cela. Pas de rangement pour nos affaires. La mezzanine est très chaude, la clim de ne refroidit que le bas. La maison est dans un coin perdu loin de tout. Et le gérant n'est pas très correct : on avait oublié une paire de chaussures là bas, je lui avait demandé de me faire un envoi postal, il m'a dit ok je vais voir ; je n'ai plus jamais eu de nouvelles malgré plusieurs messages malgré plusieurs relances.
