Fabulous location—easy walking distance to Comerica, down Woodward Avenue to Grand Circus Park and Detroit’s lively downtown, as well as the terrific Eastern Market. The owner was also easy to communicate with, and replied quickly. There are quite a few steps into the townhouse, and one of the bedrooms is downstairs on a lower, garage level. It was an inconvenient to only have one shower (on the upper level). And the third bedroom is not a bedroom, although it has a passably comfortable futon/couch. The apartment was pretty clean (excepting the living room rug). It was also spacious, had a good sized kitchen, and a comfortable dining area. All in all this rental worked for us (three senior women), as we were able to negotiate the stairs and manage other issues. Last, it was good to park behind the townhouse and off the street—a definite convenience. But it would have been much better if we had the code to access the garage and enter from that level, and that was transmitted with the front door access code. All in all, this rental worked for us and I would definitely again.

We loved this property in Brush Park. Very convenient to all three stadiums as well as downtown. You can park your car in the attached garage and walk almost anywhere. We loved the Detroit theming in the property as well.

This is the second time I have stayed here in 5 months. It is the perfect location for anything around downtown Detroit. All stadiums and arenas are an easy walk and restaurants/bars are too. Plus it has a garage for easy parking! I would certainly stay here again and will look for availability here first each time I come back to Detroit!The only knock I would have for this is the VRBO security deposit. It isn't the host's fault. It is a VRBO policy. It more than tripled the cost of my entire stay and has to be paid up front at the time of booking. Seems a little much months before arriving when it should be collected at check-in.
