This place has everything you need for that perfect getaway with family or just a small group of friends. Featuring a movie theater and indoor pool, which made it very convenient when it rained. The property was perfect for fishing with the dock being a few feet away from the house. Very quiet area, and the owner was very fast at replying. We’re already planning our next stay here!

Would not book here again but would book a house this size.

The home is very spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 16. The layout worked well for a large group, and the indoor pool was a major reason we selected this property. The house has a lot of potential and offers plenty of room for multiple families to spread out.

However, several issues impacted our stay. The pool water appeared murky and had a noticeable odor. We were told this was due to well water and safe to swim in, but we were not comfortable using it, which was disappointing since it was a key feature. Water from the tubs also ran yellowish/brown at times with visible sediment, making bathing difficult, especially for kids. We are city folks not used to well water, I guess. The washer did not work and had to be unplugged because it continued making noise even when turned off. It sounded like it was washing but did nothing, and the laundry pod remained with our load, so we had to use a laundromat. The rear stovetop burners also did not work because of loose knobs. There were additional maintenance issues, including non-working outlets, missing or broken outlet/switch plates, a pantry door that would not open, a wobbling ceiling fan, drywall damage in the media room, and wall cracking under the stairway window. Communication was limited; we were only able to reach the host once, and although a maintenance person came, not all issues were addressed because it needed to be requested by host. We also did not receive check- in Wi-Fi information or checkout instructions. Given the number of issues, there should have been a backup contact available, particularly to address the non-working washer and stove.
