The listing is deceiving. There are 6 cottages essentially in someone’s back yard. The pictures are a combination of the best parts of each cabin. We informed the cleaner that we would be leaving the place better than we found it, as every dish in the house was dirty. We stayed in Cabin 4. Some of the doors didn’t really shut. The bathroom lock didn’t work. The front door code didn’t work. There were no downstairs trash cans and the stairs were treacherous and had no railings. They said 4 WD or all wheel drive were recommended as the drive was slippery. They expected 4 cars to be able to fit in tight spaces and plowed the bare minimum. There was a road that they said “wasn’t a road in the winter” that we were not warned about and we ended up having two vehicles stuck 300 feet down the hill and had to haul all our belongings up the hill and then work for about 10
Hours total to get the vehicles unstuck. The hot tub top step comes off on its own and gets incredibly icy- huge fall risk. It needs holes drilled into it for drainage. They didn’t shovel the snow around the porches even though they were raised, so two people fell off the porch. 1 that was trying to take out the trash, and another that was trying to take the cover off the hot tub. There was no way to tell without them shoveling them. The hot tub smelled like mold. When I got home, I went to the hospital for an allergic reaction that seems to be hot tub folliculitis. I have hundreds of red bumps everywhere my bathing suit was touching. In US dollars, this trip cost me $150 extra for car rescue gear, $200 for bedding (the pictures all show bedding and you wonder why people are confused?), $60 to be rescued by a taxi to make a funeral, $50 for towels, a half day of work and several hundred dollars in hospital bills. This was not relaxing at all. Every day was hard work and it felt like survival camp.
