Great, awful start to our holidays
The location is close to the city center, the bus station that has connections to many other cities and the Guadalquivir River.
Pretty much everything went bad with this place starting with the booking.
During the booking our browser crashed and after restarting the ages of both our 2 kids were reset to 0, without me noticing; did the booking, saw the mistake of their wrong ages straight after receiving the confirmation, called Booking within 2 minutes and explained the situation.
Final result?
We would lose all our money if we cancelled or we would have to pay pretty much double the amount for adding a 5 and 10 year old child, which no other property in Sevilla asked for. We were pretty much taken advantage of. We got into this situation by a technical error and even after informing Booking straight away we were ignored. This should legally not be allowed, but yea, we know who pays politicians to make laws in their favour..
The apartment was as described, but that also about it.
Painful smell of mold that doesn't even go away when airing and using the Aircon in dry mode.
When we arrived the house floor was dirty, both bathrooms gave off an extremely strong and sour urine smell; toilets seats yellow and sticky from urine.
Kitchen had a garbage bag partially filled by the previous tenants, toaster was not functioning and we had 2 cockroaches that came inside from under the main door sill.
We asked the property management to please send someone to clean the place, but we just kept getting messages that they would talk to the owner and organise someone jada jada until the day came that we left.
Walk the talk, don't waste my holiday time answering your email and asking me to send pictures of smells and dirty floors.
Oh, the owner even tried to blame us for the unclean state of the apartment, saying that we arrived too early, which is a blatant lie, which we can prove; and even if we did, the cleaning person could have rung the bell and we would have opened the door, or they would have a second set of keys, no?
