Booking Not Honored, Extremely unprofessional

We had a confirmed reservation for this apartment, and even received confirmation via Booking.com on 6 April for our stay starting 9 April. However, upon arrival, we were informed at the last moment that they did not have our booking. The owner stated that it was Booking.com’s fault, but this is not acceptable from a guest’s perspective. The apartment had already been given to other guests, even though our booking was still active and showing as confirmed on the platform. If the property was fully booked through other channels, it was clearly their responsibility to update availability and honor confirmed reservations. To make matters worse: The owner was not responsive to messages prior to arrival We had difficulty even finding the location When we finally called, we were told there was no space and other people were already staying there We were left standing in the middle of the road, confused and without accommodation This created a very stressful situation, and we had to book a random alternative stay at the last minute, which disrupted our entire day and plans. Complete disregard for guests with confirmed reservations I strongly advise future travelers to avoid this property, especially if you rely on confirmed bookings. The owner does not check messages and does not manage reservations responsibly.

Safe, modern home in a historical city

Very kind and responsive hosts from check-in to checkout. The apartment is located in the central new area, walking distance from the shopping centre and the train station. It is in a safe and quiet area even for a solo woman at night and I enjoyed the longer walk to the bustling Medina as there are numerous impressive historical sites and gardens along the way. The apartment is clean, spacious and beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and warm blankets for winter nights. The kitchen is fully equipped along with a nice dining space and the big living room is also very cozy. The water pressure and temperature were good, The apartment was well lit and the electric blinds on the large windows were handy for a good night sleep. It's the perfect place to stay while visiting Fez and surrounding cities.

Fes 2026 🇲🇦

Located on a quiet street, 5-10 minutes walk from a McDonald's and a Shopping Center where there are restaurants, cafes, fast-food, shops as well as a Carrefour supermarket, 20-25 minutes walk from the train station (for those who want to visit Meknes). The fact that it is far from the Medina is not an disadvantage (still achievable for those who dare to walk... 45-50 minutes, recommended if you want to discover the city on foot), as there is always the option of a taxi which is quite cheap. The apartment is quite large and fully equipped, which makes the stay easier and more pleasant. Communication with the owner is good and the price-quality ratio is excellent.
